NAME - Mariposa, though most know me as Aliyaah. PRONOUNCIATION - mare-ih-poe-zah (english play on a spanish word). MEANING - Butterfly.
Hello! My name is Po. I am a 23 year old Canadian. A little bit about me; I have been roleplaying for I don't even know how long, about 12 years or something of the sort. As of right now, I only roleplay on two sites - this one, and Wild Equines. I also do graphics (manipulations), and I have been doing them on and off for as long as I have been roleplaying. I'm not super fancy though, as I only use GIMP and don't have a tablet!
In real life, I am a Kinesiologist, to which I am just completing my five years of school to graduate with a Bachelor's Degree from University. I am big on sports, I play a few and LOVE to watch them, especially hockey! I also compete in horseback riding competitions, particularly hunter jumper competitions.
As I'm sure most of us are on here, I am an animal person. I have three animals myself; two bunnies and a cat. I also usually am leasing a horse, my boy is a 18 year old (getting so old!) OTTB named Don Diego De La Vega, and he is my heart.
I'm generally a pretty patient and kind person. If you ever need to talk, or even just want to, feel free to chat me up!

personality, Asavva is a gentle creature with a kind heart and a level head, but this is mostly an outward appearance. She is fiercely independent and an introvert, very much dependent on time away from all others, isolating herself. However, this time in isolation is not always a benefit to her. She has a vivid imagination that will run away with her, especially in terms of who she is, and how others feel about her. She lacks confidence when it comes to what others truly think about her. She very much refuses from voicing this doubt, rather she very little displays what she is honestly feeling at all. The kindness she voices is genuine, but there are times that it is clear she is putting on a show, despite that she has little reason to do so. Push past the surface and one will find a creature that is largely loyal and will commit herself to much, but push too far and you might drive her to believe you seek advantage over her, and she will turn you away.
history,
She was born to two parents both who played a role in her childhood, however one more than the other. Her father was a rather mighty creature, a royal guard who was well respected. Her mother was a skinny thing, a perfectionist of sorts, perhaps who only was drawn to her mate because of his renown. She regarded being a part of his harem as something of true status. When she was born, her mother cared little - she did what was required for the young filly to survive, but no more than that - only just enough to raise the child of her beloved, so that he may choose to keep her around. Her mother therefore offered her little in terms of sympathy or compassion, being rather harsh of the young one, demanding that she be a proper, collected young filly. This did not allow her to enjoy life as youth so often do, perhaps a strong influencing force in why she is such an introvert. Her father truly cared for her and showed her how to care, but he did not have as much time for her as he would like considering his responsibilities. As soon as she was old enough, her mother insisted she leave. Asavva had believed she would remain, just to be near to her father, but her mother would not have any of it - she insisted that she already had to share enough of her mate's attention with his other females, and she did not need the burden of Asavva as well. They feuded, but when Asavva's mother began to turn to more desperate, and more violent, means of chasing Asavva away, she did not wish to cause her father trouble through their feuding, and so she left.
