Alright Folks, The whole, beautiful, idea behind Halcyon is that there is a place and purpose for everyone. This is a concept that Atlanta, the newly appointed Alphess believes in deeply. In the ranking system I tried to create a job for everyone but I am absolutely 100% open to suggestions and ideas. I am curious to know where you all see each of your characters fitting into the carefully constructed realm of Halcyon. What role do they wish to fill? Bearing in mind that while there is an alpha and beta level the idea is that everyone within Halcyon is, in essence, equal in most regards. While the Alpha and Alphess will oversee the lands and "rule" them (rule isn't a good word for but I can't think of a better one at the moment) they do not see themselves as better than those of "lesser rank". Please keep this in mind as you decide what position your character will thrive in. Every role is important. Please reply here with any requests for ranks or ideas. I think Aliviyaah would be best suited for either Healer, Herd Mother, Teacher or Beta (Depending on what Beta does). But I think she'd feel more fulfilled as a Healer =)

Aliviyah I think she would make a wonderful healer, tough Atlanta would need to meet her first and they can sort it out.

What does a a Shaman do? I think she would fit into the category "gentle" very well or maybe "the wise". Although I need to role play her a bit since she is brand new and shiny. But based on what I want her to be life, I think she would fit very well in either of those sections.
I know for sure she isn't a warrior or anything heroic. She is defiantly meek and hesitant to show any type of violence.

BenjioA shaman would be the lead healer, essentially. I would definitely have to see how she and Atlanta interact before giving an advisor or ambassador position, though.

Oh geez....I don't know what I want Bucephalus to be! He has the potential to do something military-related, his greatest joy is in helping others, which doesn't usually involving maiming and killing them. Being a Guard might suit him, but as an Ambassador, his need to travel might be more easily satisfied. I suppose he might do well as a Teacher or something, but Guide sounds interesting - what are their responsibilities? LANTY |

Pyra was just accepted into Halcyon, so I hope it's alright to post here! :')
If it's possible for her to have a rank, she might do well as a guard or warrior even though she's tiny. She would not shy away from defending the herd, and might find fulfillment doing so. Guide could be another option, though I'm less sure about what that rank entails.
Just let me know what you think, since I'm perfectly fine with her being unranked, too. : D

Bucephalus muirgenA guide is essentially someone who helps to acclimate newcomers to the herd. I could totally see Bicep in a Guard position, I am not sure how he would fair as an Ambassador as I haven't seen him in action enough. Is he inclined to be political? I will PM you some other thoughts as well. Pyra JillFirst of all I just read over her profile and I LOVE her. She is a sharp little mare. I think she could do well as a guard or warrior and would love to have her meet with Atlanta! Please be sure to post in the herd gathering thread!
