LAWS THAT GOVERN THE KINGDOM OF ASTERIA, UNDER IZAR, HODEIAK, AND ZERUA, RULED BY QUEEN MESNYI OF THE JASMINE
I. Any and all decisions, decrees, or laws made official by the Queen may be adjusted or recalled entirely if she deems fit. Additionally, she may change, add or remove official titles if she wishes, as well as change, add, or remove individuals holding said titles. She may award an individual more than one title if she so desires. The Queen may add immediate laws to punish those that threaten the kingdom's wellbeing, but after said issue is dealt with, such laws are subject to discussion by the Council of Elders and potentially the Council of Three.
II. Any and all visitors entering from outside lands may be subject to inspection and interrogation by kingdom officials of the royalty, nobility, or military. Members of religious orders and other citizens should direct all foreigners to proper authorities. If a citizen is in contact with a foreigner that proves to be a threat, and has not contacted proper authorities, said citizen is subject to punishment.
III. If a citizen of any rank receives instructions from a higher ranking citizen or royalty, it must be carried out unless a member of the royalty or Council of Elders contests it. Such conflicts may be brought before the royal court, but should not be extended disagreements if in times of emergency.
IV. Respect should be awarded to all traditions following religious ideas, rules, and procedures regarding the Asterian religion. Failure to follow any requirements may result in legal punishment. All rituals and traditions should be observed by the entire population of the Asterian kingdom should the religious orders decree it. The only exception to this law is if religious practices violate any existing laws of the kingdom. The Queen reserves the right to hold council and discuss religious practices that conflict with other matters or that may disturb the peace and/or wellbeing of the kingdom. However, the Queen, or any royal or noble, or any rank below those listed, may not move to reduce or eliminate any religious aspects of Asterian culture.

The Royal Guard is firstly commanded by the Queen and King, then by any princes or princesses, and then by the General, as it exists for the protection of royalty, and not defense of the kingdom or its inhabitants on a whole. The military exists to protect the kingdom and its citizens from invasion and intrusion. The General and their Paladins reserve the right to question and detain any and all foreign visitors to the kingdom.
