Ok, y'all, Rayth is a dictator through and through. However, he's a dictator who listens to his subjects. As a result, he will definitely have a Counsel of sorts. These will mostly be chosen IC, but if you want to be on said counsel and have a really cool backstory that would totally work with it, throw it at me. As for queen, I'm thinking it'll start out as traditional empire-esque. I think Rayth could eventually fall in love and be exclusive to a single mare, but it'd take a while. He doesn't really form that sort of attachment. So his queen will be free to pursue her own romantic interests--though he'd be madder than a wet hen if she had any illegitimate foals. Muahahaha the plots! Anyway, this bit is kinda up to whoever he chooses. It'll definitely be an IC thing, but feel free to throw ideas at me or submit candidacy. =] As for everything else, Kairos is a military first and formost. This thread is for all of you to tell me what you want to see in the ranks. If you've a character who is Kairos to the bone but a medic instead of a fighter, we can work that in. =] Have a character who would be the perfect choice for a personal body guard? Tell me your ideas. Have a character who wants to run his own little special ops company? Bruhhhhh, let's talk. Tell me what sort of thing you want to see in the kingdom, and I'll try to make it happen. <3 Understand, though, I can't do everything. I can't magically give you a position of extreme authority without making sure you and your character could handle the job. Gehenna will most likely be chill with Rayth. They should meet ICly before any hard decisions are made, because she might absolutely hate him but she might also be willing to do whatever she can to be Queen.

Bain would want something to do with the military and his council. Of course we should throw them into a thread first because I have no idea how they'd get along.
I kinda see Bain being stubborn as hell and going after what she wants because that's who she is. Even if Rayth didn't want her to be doing much she'd only try harder to gain his trust. Ultimately, though, she's really loyal.
I think Bain would even develop a crush on him but would be conflicted and angry about it. There could be drama plots here and there between them 8)

Rhaskos is military through and through, but not much of a thinker. I could see him being perhaps a general /// head of war /// warlord (lol). He can be softhearted though, but literally he'll do what his leader tells him to, he's just used to it that way. ALSO I have some really cool army-run ideas for Kairosian arena's and events, things that will interest the public (potentially raise revenue) and train the army. I'm thinking gladiator style fights etc.

I seem to recall forgetting to create one. =( Bain and Rayth could seriously be a thing. Like long term thing if sparks fly the right way. I'd like to have as much drama as possible, too, and Rayth is definitely the type to pursue multiple mares at the same time. Hmm something to do with his military and the counsel... Her youth would make him wary of giving her a counsel position, but her loyalty, ambition, and vigilence could see her quickly into a rank of power. If she has a head for leadership, I can easily see him giving her an officer rank and seeing how she does with others under her command and if she's successful, eventually promoting her to a better station. Nightreaper , have a more specific place in mind? She's strategic and ambitious to a fault but a bit young. Would you like to just see how it goes? She's also rather beautiful, and Rayth is a sucker for that. xD Rhaskos , that's exactly what I wanted to hear! He's totally new to Kairos, according to his history, but if he can prove himself loyal, there's definitely a place for him. I'm thinking the military is going to be split up into 3 divisions. The infantry, royal guard, and recon. None of these names are official yet, but bear with me. =D The royal guard will double as special ops soldiers--the best of the best, as it were. Recon are going to be spies, basically, and are not always required to be Kairosian. And then infantry will be split between ground forces and an air wing for the pegasi. Trainees will go into either recon or infantry then be hand-picked for the royal guard if they show the aptitude. Obviously he wouldn't have much of a place in the recon division, since he's not much of a thinker, but that leaves the infantry and the royal guard. Where do you think he'd fit in the best? I'm not sure about making him a general right off the bat since he's brand new and hasn't proved himself at all to the kingdom, but it's definitely a possibility. =] |

Rayth Definitely royal guard - perhaps he could begin in the infantry and Rayth could be observing training and pick him out?? After a while he'd do well with a squad of his own because his loyalty and ambition would extend to being the best squad in the Kingdom, handpicked for missions etc. I'd like for him to be having these ideas about training / developing skills which he could then take to Rayth to be put into place. It'd be super cool!

I'll put him in as a sergeant in the infantry, and we can see how it turns out. >D We must thread soon. <3 Then he can talk about his ideas, and Rayth can see that even if he's not a "thinker" as you say, he's got a good mind. Would definitely put in on track to be hand picked into the royal guard. |

Rayth i could definitely see some sparks flying between the two. it would probably be pretty fiery since bain is such a passionate & determined young woman. i can see so much drama cropping up if they're romantically involved, especially when bain tries to move up in rank. i'll start a thread for them today!! 8)
